DELL inspiron 6000 |
Dell's new
Inspiron 6000 notebook features abundant multimedia tools,
such as a 15.4-inch widescreen display, seven backlit
multimedia keys, and numerous ports and connections for
multimedia devices. It also incorporates Intel's new 915GM
chipset, which is designed to reduce power consumption and
improve performance. Inspiron 6000 systems come with 15.4"
widescreen display is comparable in viewing area to a 17"
CRT monitor, an Intel Media Accelerator 900 graphics
card, a SD (Secure Digital) media card reader for swapping
files with your camera or PDA, and Dolby digital audio.
Additional ports and connections include an S-Video (Super
Video) out port, a headphone and speaker jack, a microphone
jack, four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire for those looking to
hook up a camcorder
Standard software for the Inspiron 6000 includes WordPerfect
Productivity Pack, Dell Media Experience, Dell Jukebox, and
Sonic RecordNow. You also get a trial version of Paint Shop
Pro Studio and a 90-day trial version of Symantec's Norton
Internet Security or McAfee Security Center.
When it's time to output your footage to a DVD, you'll
appreciate the 8X DVD burner that also handles high-capacity
dual-layer discs. For networking, the Inspiron 6000 contains
standard features, such as an integrated 10/100 Ethernet
card and a 56Kbps modem. and fast 802.11b/g for
wireless connectivity. |
