The chassis of the workstation, which is in black, is perfectly built and the base unit as well as the keyboard are extremely sturdy.. Another advantage of the chassis is the large maintenance hatch and the good maintainability.

Customization

Available in various configurations, the ThinkPad P70, models are equipped with a powerful quad-core processor,  Every model also Has a dedicated Nvidia Quadro Graphic Card, starting with the M600M all the way up to the top model M5000M. The memory selection is also very comprehensive; everything is possible from conventional HDDs all the way up to extremely fast NVMe-SSDs. The RAM can be upgraded all the way up to 64 GB thanks to the 4 SODIMM slots (DDR4).

Gaming

You might want to play games on the ThinkPad P70 if you do not only use it for work. The performance is sufficient for smooth frame rates at the highest settings. Only very challenging titles like GTA V or the Witcher 3 should be played at the "High" preset.

Lenovo's ThinkPad P70 is an excellent choice of 17-inch workstations with High resolutions performance, the large VRAM and the 256-bit memory interface of the Quadro M3000M, also the touchpad and the TrackPoint in particular, which are once again equipped with dedicated buttons.
